St. Patrick Women's Ministry
There is a Place for You Here!

Mission Statement - We are a group of women dedicated to communicating that we are

the bearer of God and that we are an effective means of reaching out with the love of

Christ to all.  We are to be “real” in flesh and spirit, knowing that we are sinners and in

continuous need to keep going to the Cross.

Core Values

-To provide women with opportunities to discover and develop spiritual gifts

-To promote relationships between women in the community though service, prayer and

corporate opportunities.  We live out the Gospel in everyday situations and in “planned activities”

-To partner with the whole body of Christ to provide for physical, emotional, spiritual and

social needs of women

To assist the church as needed in all church functions

Ways You Can Be Involved

Ladies Bible Study - Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m.  Childcare provided

Thursdays, 6:30 p.m.  Childcare not provided

Love Knots Prayer and Blanket Ministry - Meets the 3rd Thursday morning of each

month at 9:30.  Ladies meet and put an outward face on the Gospel by making blankets for

those hospitalized.  Excellent opportunity to get to know the “wiser” women of our

church community.  No childcare is provided, but we encourage women to come and

bring their children!

Mercy Meals - This is a coordinated missional ministry to provide meals to our church

families in times of need for new babies, bereavement and sick/hospitalization.

1st Monday Lunch Bunch - Ladies meet at the church on the first Monday of every

month for lunch, fellowship and a speaker.  Bring a sack lunch.  12:00 p.m.  Childcare

provided.

Womenʼs Retreat - An overnight womenʼs fellowship with an instructional speaker,

music, food and lots of fun!  See brochure for details.  Scholarships available.

Fellowship - Usually a ladies night out or lunch out with an emphasis on friendship

building with all our sisters at St. Patrick.  We try to meet 3-4 times per year.  In the

Summer, we host Summer Splash where women and their children (of all ages) gather

once a week at someoneʼs home with a pool for fellowship, prayer and relaxation.

Card Ministry - This is a ministry for the purpose of uplifting those in need of a spiritual

boost and to simply provide a message of comfort.

Flowers - This is a committee of various women who have the gift of artistry through

arranging flowers for the sanctuary.  Fresh flowers are provided in the spring and

summer months by gardeners in our congregation.

Rummage Sale - An annual fundraiser held in the spring benefitting our building fund.
